Why mRNA COVID-19 Vaccines Induce Short-Term Protection but not Long-Term Immunity

In a recent small poll on LinkedIn, I asked my connections about the lack of long-term immunity and whether the mRNA shots should be called vaccines. The response showed 88% in favor of reclassifying the mRNA shots. In a normal world, regulators would have stepped in to ask for more research before further administration. This raises important questions about future vaccine uses of mRNA technology before switching most vaccines. We should insist on transparency and continue asking questions.
